Today, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet released the following statement after the Biden Administration made an intelligence report public that concludes that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi:

"The release of this report demonstrates the United States won't turn a blind eye to Jamal Khashoggi's brutal murder and affirms our commitment to uphold and protect freedom of the press. The report makes clear there must be accountability for violations of universal human rights in the U.S.-Saudi relationship."
